Film magazine colour scheme

I have used the website Coolors.co, to display the colours I will like to use to for my film magazine cover. Film magazine covers in my opinion are very unique with deliberate meaning colour of scheme chosen because they reflect the film portrayed on the cover. Therefore I have chosen theres colours intentional in correlation to the theme that i am trying to represent which is police crime.
Yellow- I have chosen the colour because it blends in well with the colour complexion of my front cover image. Using the colour yellow allows my magazine to stand out more to help attract my targeted audience to look at the magazine. I believe that the colour yellow also makes my magazine look more eye catching as it stands out the most when against darker colours such as grey and black.
Black, grey and White - These colours present sophistication and a sense of authority which are a few of the typical convention in police crime films . This is relevant as the mise-en-scene of the police profession is usually black and white and sophisticated and so the audience would be able to identify the genre of the film portrayed through these colours.
Red - This red usually signifies blood, death and danger, which are all main element of police crime films. I believe that adding this colour to my magazine is relevant because my trailer has elements of danger in it.
